Fifth Grade Summer Assignment
Materials:
To complete this activity, you will need:
1. a thin black permanent
marker2. an inflatable beach ball.
(NO giant beach balls, please.)
Project Directions:
Choose one of the books you have read from the
Write the title of the book on one of the beach ball’s stripes. Write the name of the author on the next stripe. On another stripe, write one fact about a main character. Write a fact about the setting on another stripe. Then, write an interesting event from the book on each remaining stripe of the ball.
Be Creative!!Note: We will be hanging the ball from the air valve, so please put the valve on top when you write.
